About me

I work online with bullied, disengaged & victims of CSE aged 14-16 refusing school & mainstream education.

Crime or subjects linked to crime i.e. death penalty, guns & gun control, corruption, prisons & jails, poverty, urban social issues, help re-engage teenagers into learning topics that are not mainstream curriculum.

This subject area helps pupils at improve their reading, writing, listening, speaking & critical thinking skills

Online lessons run for 50 minute - 70 minutes.

This would benefit parents who's children are:

1 - refusing to attend school
2 - vulnerable, disadvantaged, disengaged, bullied & continually being excluded from school
3 - have no interest or struggling with core subjects
4 - refusing to engage in lessons or teachers at school
5 - parents wanting to offer their child a subject of interest outside the standard curriculum.

Criminology introduces learning objectives of many GCSE subject areas i.e. English (verbal, listening, reading, writing & critical thinking skills), science (biology, physiology, psychology), geography (laws in different countries), diverse learning (laws in different cultures), sociology (social response to crime), media research (news, film, music).

Gabe has been working with my 15 year old daughter since August 2026. She's been out of education since January 2026 due to being bullied since September 2025. I visited the school several times but nothing was done to punish these bullies or protect my daughter. Once she started self harming I took her out of school. No follow up, no support from her school - nothing. I found Gabe on FindTutors. He requested an online meeting before pressing ahead. During our meeting, Gabe raised several controversial topics that are covered. Moral crimes covers abortion, prostitution, suicide, assisted suicide and euthanasia. State crimes covers genocide. Honour crimes covers fgm, murder. Domestic abuse covers violence against men and women. My daughter is loving his lessons. She plans to attend college in September 2027. Any parent who's child has suffered, will understand the feeling of seeing your child recover, regain their confidence and keen to learn. I could go on... Thanks Gabe & FindTutors!

Gabriel worked with my son for almost 1 year. He started college in September 2026 studying psychology. Previous to this, my son stopped attending school in late September 2025 due to the violence against him in school. 4 physical assaults (cuts, bruises, torn clothes), 4 visits to the school and nothing was done. The school refused to involve the police so I did. Again nothing was done. The school threatened me with fines and legal action. I dared them to go ahead, but they didn't because I threatened to go public by naming and shaming their school on social media and local newspaper, detailing the meetings, incidents and their failure to safeguard my son from physical violence. My son searched on the internet for online lessons and found Gabriel on FindTutors. We started lessons almost immediately. During his lessons, my son was asked his views, his opinions, what he felt about the topics being taught. Gabriel never pushed / expressed his personal or political views on my son.

Gabriel works extremely well with my 14 year old son Michael. I can't write about the incident my son suffered at school due to an ongoing investigation. Michael's school has been absolutely appalling with any moral & educational support. He's not attended school since March 2026 and they don't seem concerned about it! It's been difficult getting him interested in any form studying at home (math, English, science, geography). I found Gabriel on FindTutors & arranged an online meeting. We discussed alternative subjects & Michael agreed. My son clearly stated to Gabriel "Don't trick me and start teaching me subjects I was doing at school. If you do I'll turn off the laptop!". Once Gabriel showed him a list of lessons he'll be studying, he was keen to start. Michael enjoys his lessons and talks away with Gabriel – something my son never did with any of his teachers at school (he told me this). Gabriel does warn you beforehand on any topic being taught containing controversial areas.

I hope his review makes sense. I'm still in shock what happened to my son Daniel. In short, last year my son tried to end his life due to being physically attacked on many occasions at school. Many meetings with the school & police involvement achieved nothing. After Daniel's attempt to end his life I kept him home. I started working from home to keep an eye on Daniel because I was worried he would try again. After many months of helping Daniel recover, I suggested homeschooling. After several discussions Daniel agreed but he would choose what to study – crime. I agreed. We found Gabriel on FindTutors & arranged an online meeting which lasted 45 mins. Gabriel was made fully aware of what happened to Daniel. We were informed some lessons cover suicide (examples moral crimes & rise in youth suicide). Gabriel also teaches other subjects alongside crime. Daniel discusses his lessons with me after each class. I can't tell you how great that feels but it still hurts what happened to my son.

My daughter stopped attending school almost immediately after the start of the new academic year in 2025. The school has no interest in protecting my daughter from the constant bullying which escalated to violence. I've had many meetings with the school, but doesn't get us anywhere. Her education has been severely affected. At my last meeting with the school, I was threatened with fines (which I've refused to pay) & legal action if my daughter refuses to attend school. I responded “with all the evidence I have (incident reports, meeting notes, emails, photos etc.) I look forward to seeing you in court”. No parent should have to force their child to attend school when their met with nothing but violence from other teenagers & the school doing nothing about it. Gabe was recommended to me by another parent. So far her lessons are going well. Criminology isn't something I expected her to want to study. Gabe also teaches other various subjects including English (reading) & science.

Gabriel teaches criminology & crime, but he also teaches English & science. Gabriel teaches lessons which are easy for my son to follow. Depending on your child's learning ability, they'll learn both English & science in one lesson. Each of these subjects are about 30 minutes. Criminology is 1 hour (my son likes this subject very much). I homeschool my son because he has been attacked by boys in & after school on many occasions. They also mocked the way he spoke because English is not his first language. Gabriel was recommended to me by another parent who found him on FindTutors.

I'm learning English with Gabriel. I like to talk about the subject more than reading many sentences. Criminology lessons are good for me because it is more discussion with images which I like. English lessons in crime B1 and B2 is more reading with questions. Gabriel mixes my lessons for me. Sometimes, my lessons are more than 60 minutes. For example 75 or 80 minutes. I found Gabriel on FindTutors.

My daughter hasn't been back to school since the start of the last academic year (September 2024) due being being attacked on many occasions & the school doing nothing about it. Incidents involved name calling & being punched & kicked. One incident involved two girls holding my daughter down whilst another cut part of her hair with scissors. That was the final straw. I wanted to involve the police but the school insisted they'd deal with it. They didn't. No one from the school has contacted me asking about the welfare of my daughter since I pulled her out of school last year! They don't care. I found Gabriel on FindTutors & he's a great tutor for my daughter. She started lessons in January 2025. It was difficult at first due to lack of motivation, but quickly excelled thanks to Gabriel making her lessons more visual & conversational. The best part - my daughter discusses the topics she's learnt that day with me. She turns 16 next year & plans to enroll at college in September 2026.

Gabriel has been an amazing tutor to my 14yo, AuDHD son. Gabriel has been very approachable and friendly, but most importantly very professional and caring. He sends in class notes after each lesson and regularly assigns homework which is marked promptly. Topics of classes are known well in advance, so my son does not need to worry about what to expect. Gabriel also sends in relevant certificates of achievement on completion of a block of topics. All classes are on time, never cancelled or delayed. Gabriel's a very dedicated tutor, my son stays 100% engaged in a class and actively takes part in all discussions. Top marks for Gabriel and highly recommend his classes.

UPDATE JULY 2025: my son has enrolled into college for September 2025. Thank you Gabriel for your hard work & giving my son the confidence to grow, learn & study. Even though I had my doubts at first (I kept this to myself), studying this subject really did make all the difference. PREVIOUS REVIEW ON FIND TUTORS: My son has been studying online with Gabriel since October 2024. It's interesting to see my son take a keen interest in this subject, due to him performing poorly at school & taking no interest in other subjects. My son engages well with Gabriel & have never seen him so keen to do homework!

My son no longer attends school due to the inadequate safeguarding from bullies over the past year, enjoys his online lessons. It was difficult getting my son to focus on some form of education. I didn't want him sitting at home all day doing nothing. He was refusing to study the curriculum & when I tried to encourage him, threatening to run away worried me. I remembered a while back my son asking me about crime shows on TV. I found Gabriel via Find Tutors (I searched online crime tutors for 15 year olds). At this stage, Gabriel's lessons are more visual & discussion based with occasional multiple choice questions. His 1st lesson, white collar crime surprised my son. He stated these people in a power of position are supposed to be role models. Instead they steal millions pounds or dollars for themselves without considering how it would affect their victims who might have less. This was a breath of fresh air when my son made this statement, showing how much interest & attention he paid.

My daughter who's almost 15 stopped attending school in March 2025. If I explained the reasons why, you'd be shocked. Her school's safeguarding policies are not worth the paper it's written on. My daughter has often talked about studying crime and found Gabriel on Find Tutors. Gabriel works well with my daughter and she enjoys his lessons.

Gabriel is alright as a tutor. I prefer this to what I was doing at school. I like the lessons but I've never liked homework. Gabriel doesn't get annoyed like the teachers did at school if you don't submit your homework before the next lesson. I don't get treated like an idiot or talked down to you during my online lessons when I don't focus. Teachers never supported or protected me at school. I still have PTSD from the physical bullying at school and Gabriel let's me talk about this during my lessons when he see's I'm not focusing. He doesn't get angry when I use bad language when I talk about the boys who bullied me at school. Gabriel was physically bullied at school, so he totally gets it.

My daughter recently turned 15 & dropped out of school due to bullying. She's physically mature for her age & boys & girls at school bullied her for it. It seemed like an inconvenience to the school every time me & my daughter reported the 22 incidents. If the school won't protect my daughter, I will. Gabriel was recommended by another parent who used him last year for their son. I contacted Gabriel & started lessons within 2 weeks (24th March 2025). Gabriel's lessons are more visual with photos & pictures. There is some reading i.e. agree or disagree statements relating to the topic taught. He also asks questions which get's my daughter thinking about issues she's never thought of before. My daughter said studying this subject is more interesting than what she was doing at school. My daughter will have to think about attending college in 2026, but we'll discuss this later in the year. Moral crimes (we covered this on 31st March) involves sensitive topics (abortion, drugs, alcohol).

Gabriel & Find Tutors sorry for the delay in writing this review. My daughter is another casualty of school bullying. She opened up about her se*ual preference to a friend, who then told others at school. This was used as a battering ram to verbally abuse her for 10 months. Boys called her homophobic names in & out of school & occasionally girls would join in when the boys started. Small items would be thrown at her during lessons, along with disgusting hand gestures. She regrets telling her now ex friend. Did the school do anything about this? NO! You'd think in 2025 this wouldn't be an issue. It was my daughter who came across Gabriel's profile online, searching for something different & interesting to study at home to try & forget school. She's never talked about criminology or crime, so this was a bit of a surprise. Long story short – she likes his lessons. The best part is he talks to my daughter & exchange their bullying experiences. Gabriel is open about being bullied at school.

Please accept my apologies for the long delay in responding to Find Tutors email regarding a review for Gabriel. My two teenage children enjoy their online lessons with Gabriel. He also gives them homework which their keen to complete. If only they had the same enthusiasm for school work! Gabriel does warn you beforehand some topics covered maybe of a delicate nature.

The severe bullying at school left my son Matthew with low self esteem issues. Matthew believes he's a failure and believes he's not good looking. It took around 6 weeks to get him into some form of learning, but was refusing to learn English, Math, Geography and Science. Basically anything being taught in school. I was recommended by another parent who's child attended the same school as my son (Sunbury Manor) to look at using Gabriel. We looked at this idea and seemed interested in learning about crime. When Matthew started lessons, he was allowed to keep his camera off due to his confidence issues. By the 4th lesson, he turned his camera on. The interaction between Matthew and Gabriel is great! When he gets positive feedback for his homework, I can see the positive change in him. Matthew's self confidence grew in 2 months. After completing his 8th lesson yesterday (13/3/2025), he received a certificate of achievement showing the topics he covered. He's so proud of this achievement.

I can't write this review in 1000 words. It's not enough. My son has anger issues & swears a lot due to being bullied at school for 3 years. Many meetings with the school, along with many empty promises to protect my son. When my son threatened to commit suicide that was it. No more school. We tried a few online teachers, but they wouldn't continue teaching my son due to his constant outbursts during his lessons about teachers & bullies at school. His lessons wouldn't be a full hour. His outburst could last for around 20 – 30 minutes & teachers wouldn't make allowances for this extra time. Gabriel – found him through Find Tutors. During our online meeting my son had his usual outburst about school. Gabriel encourages my son to talk about his experience without holding him back. Telling him not to use bad language makes it worse (other tutors did this). Lessons with Gabriel last up to 85 minutes which gives my son extra time for his outbursts. Bottom line: my son loves his lessons.

I took my daughter out of school before the end of the summer holidays of 2024 due to the continuous verbal and physical bullying and the school failing to protect her (Sunbury Manor School). Bullies run rife at this school and the education is terrible. She is now being home educated. My daughter who's now 15 has always talked about studying crime. I found Gabriel and we started lessons almost immediately.

I study English with Gabriel. Yes he teaches criminology and crime to teenagers but he also teaches adults. English lessons are topics about crime or problems related to crime. Topics like this make me talk a lot which I need! I don't like the homework!

I've recently started online lessons which are going OK. When the lesson is over, Gabriel always asks if he's allowed to go! One day I will say no lol. Be aware lessons & discussions cover controversial topics. For example abortion, biological warfare, honour killings & domestic abuse.

My daughter stopped attending school at 15 for a multitude of reasons (which I won't go into). I wanted to get her into some form of studying at home & the usual subjects was a definite no.
