Freya Stanwix

Hi! I am Freya an online Mathematics/ Physics tutor for Scottish students completing their National 5's and Highers'. I am 17 and still in High School although this means I still have a thorough understanding of the courses and recognise how the SQA are expecting you to approach and solve a problem. Having sat my exams in 2024 for National 5 and 2025 for Higher, I remember all the topics, tips and tricks for solving problems and the also level of detail the SQA are expecting from you as this knowledge is still fresh in my mind.

In my National 5 and Higher exams I achieved A1's in both Maths and Physics and attained the highest grade in the year for Higher Physics.

I have had experience teaching as I am currently working with my High School's maths department and holding a supported study for the younger years. I also have experience working with children as I volunteered with my local community's centre and helped set up a girls only club for young females who wanted a positive and supportive environment to have fun and play.

I am bright, reliable and flexible as well as create a positive and constructive learning environment. It is my aim to kindle excitement and a strong feeling of self-accomplishment with every lesson as well as boost the grades of Scottish students at a cheap price. First lessons are free of charge.
