Francis Mcnamara

Hello, my name is Francis, a history graduate from Maynooth University, Ireland, and I have been teaching conversational English for just over a year. I currently teach teens and adults from all over the world, including Afghanistan, Brazil, China, Syria and Ukraine, ranging from levels A2-C1.

I offer online lessons via Skype and Zoom. Lessons are approximately an hour long, on a one-to-one basis, and are available from 08:00-18:00 GMT Monday-Saturday.

My main focus is to bridge the gap between spoken English and written English by developing your clarity, confidence, pronunciation and vocabulary through practice with a native speaker. If you are a student or professional, I also offer a proofreading service and technical conversation lessons to supplement your learning.

If you are a history student, I can offer you homework and assignment aid. I specialize in Early Modern European History (Renaissance - French Revolution) and British/Irish history, though I am comfortable teaching classical, medieval, and modern world history too.
