The lesson is ideally composed of a first part about grammar exercises and a second part about listening and conversation.
In the first part of the lesson, the student will engage in exercises about verbal times, prepositions, vocabulary and such, also listening to the explication I will provide them with.
In the second part of the lesson, the student will visualize videos and multimedia content and will comment it, by formulating critical thoughts about and by engaging in a conversation with the tutor. The videos will be about news or topics of current interest, and will cover a multitude of aspects of everyday life.
The student can also write essays and personal reflexions to be submitted for correction. The structure and topic of them varies in relation to the specific needs of the student, which will be provided with notions and skills about Italian writing and French specific writing methodology, potentially applied to the legal or academic field. If the student needs so, the possibility of writing translations is also available, and will be a great exercise for getting to know vocabulary and grammar. The correction of the elaborate will happen at the beginning of the lesson, and the student will be asked to engage with its own work (by correcting it before the official correction is given to them by the tutor).
Another important activity is commenting news on online journals and magazines, which is a great exercise for critical thinking development, vocabulary and fluency and training for job/selection interview processes.
