My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student's level and learning goals. As a medical doctor currently pursuing an MSc in Cardiovascular Science at University College London (UCL), I have a strong academic background in biology, anatomy, physiology, and biomedical sciences.
Each lesson begins by identifying areas the student finds challenging, followed by clear explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, and practice questions to reinforce understanding. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and explain concepts in their own words rather than simply memorising facts. I can also help with exam preparation, revision strategies, and breaking down complex topics into manageable sections.
My experience in clinical practice and biomedical research allows me to connect biological concepts to real-world medical applications, making lessons engaging and relevant. My goal is to help every student build confidence, strengthen their scientific understanding, and achieve their academic goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs, whether through visual learning, step-by-step explanations, active recall, or exam-style exercises. I aim to create a relaxed atmosphere where students feel comfortable discussing difficulties and making mistakes as part of the learning process. For students preparing for examinations, I focus on understanding key concepts, identifying common misconceptions, and developing effective revision techniques. I can also help students connect topics such as genetics, cell biology, human physiology, and biological systems to demonstrate how different areas of biology relate to one another. Through regular feedback and achievable learning objectives, I help students recognise their progress and become more independent learners. My ultimate aim is not only to improve academic performance but also to develop curiosity, confidence, and a lasting appreciation for biology.
