Fernando

I’m an experienced language teacher with over fourteen years’ experience teaching and tutoring French and Spanish. I’m a native Spanish speaker and fully fluent in French and English, and I work with a wide range of learners, from school and university students to adults learning for professional, personal or travel reasons.

My lessons are friendly, well structured and adapted to each individual. I focus on making languages clear and accessible, helping learners build solid foundations in grammar and vocabulary while gaining confidence in speaking and writing. Whether your goal is exam preparation, professional use, moving abroad, or simply feeling more comfortable in another language, I tailor lessons to suit your needs, pace and interests.

I’m calm, encouraging and easy to work with, while still helping learners push themselves and make real progress. I believe learning works best in a relaxed, supportive environment where questions are welcome and mistakes are part of the process. I also place emphasis on understanding how the language works, not just memorising rules, so learners become more independent and confident over time.
