My drum lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, experience level, and musical taste. Whether you're a complete beginner or you just not a professional yet, I build a personalised lesson plan that suits your pace and interests. I work with students of all ages, creating a fun, focused, and supportive learning environment.

Each lesson is 1 hour long (with a free 45-minute first session) and typically includes a mix of warm-ups, technique development, rhythm rudiments exercises, and creative work such as improvisation or playing along with tracks. For more advanced students, we also explore topics like recording, live performance preparation, and even songwriting—especially useful if you're aiming to become a well-rounded musician.

I have over 20 years of experience in drumming and music, and I’m currently completing a degree in Music Performance and Production, with a specialisation in vocals and songwriting. I've played drums on many released tracks and collaborated with a wide range of artists, so I bring real-world, professional experience into my teaching.

I use a studio at my university (subject to availability) for in-person lessons and also offer online sessions. I often incorporate video examples, custom play-along tracks, and student recordings to track progress and keep lessons engaging.

Beyond technique, I help students understand music holistically — how rhythm interacts with melody and song structure. This creative approach builds not just drummers, but complete musicians ready for any performance situation.

My goal is to help you enjoy the learning process, grow as a drummer, and express yourself confidently through music.

In addition to drumming, I also teach vocals — focusing on control, tone, and confidence. My vocal lessons blend technique and expression, helping students develop their unique sound and perform with clarity and emotion.
