Hello! My name is Favour, and I am a friendly, patient and dedicated English tutor passionate about helping primary school children develop confidence in their English skills. I believe that children learn best when lessons are interactive, encouraging and enjoyable, so I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
My online lessons are designed around each child’s individual needs and learning level. I can help students improve their reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and general communication skills. I will use simple explanations, examples, questions, conversations, reading activities and engaging exercises to make lessons easy to understand and enjoyable.
As an English-speaking tutor, I communicate clearly and patiently and can adapt my approach when a student finds a particular topic difficult. I also understand the importance of encouragement when working with children, and I will celebrate their progress while helping them identify areas where they can improve.
My previous experience in customer service has strengthened my communication, listening, patience and problem-solving skills. These qualities are valuable when teaching because every student is different and may require a different approach.
My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to make them more confident English speakers and learners. I look forward to creating positive, engaging and productive online lessons that help each child reach their full potential.
