My science lessons are dynamic, supportive, and tailored to help every student unlock their full potential. With over two years of tutoring experience, both in and outside of school, I’ve worked with students from a range of backgrounds and abilities—supporting those who need extra encouragement, as well as those aiming for top grades. I specialise in GCSE and A Level chemistry and biology, and as a current BSc Chemistry student, I bring fresh subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm to every lesson.

Each session is designed to be clear, structured, and engaging. I start with a short recap to check prior understanding and build from there—introducing new topics through simplified explanations, diagrams, real-life examples, and interactive methods. I break down tricky concepts into manageable steps and use questioning to encourage active thinking. Students are never just passive listeners; they’re involved, curious, and supported every step of the way.

I regularly use exam-style questions, mini quizzes, and tailored practice tasks to reinforce learning and build exam confidence. I also focus on improving study skills, resilience, and independent learning habits. Whether a student learns best through visuals, conversation, repetition, or practice—I adapt my teaching to suit their style.

Above all, I create a warm, safe, and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress. I believe in every student’s potential, and I work hard to help them see it too. My goal is to make science feel less intimidating and more inspiring—so learners not only understand the material but genuinely enjoy learning it!
