My sessions are supportive, reflective, and designed to help students build confidence and overcome the internal barriers that often hold them back in learning and life. Many students and adults struggle not because they lack ability, but because of fear, self-doubt, stress, or difficulty expressing their ideas clearly. My role is to help students work through these challenges in a calm and encouraging environment. I draw on my experience as a published author, workshop facilitator, and mentor working with students/people of all ages. Through school visits and workshops, I regularly help young people explore themes such as courage, resilience, and following their dreams and goals, using storytelling and discussion to help them reflect on their own experiences. Alongside this work, I hold a diploma in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), sometimes known as tapping. EFT is a gentle method that helps people release feelings of stress, anxiety, or self-doubt that may be holding them back. When appropriate, I can introduce simple EFT techniques to help students feel calmer, more focused, and more confident. Sessions are conversational and adapted to each individual. Some students want support with confidence, motivation, or managing setbacks. Others want to improve communication skills, practise spoken English, or clarify their academic thinking. My aim is to create a safe and encouraging space where students feel heard, supported, and able to develop greater confidence in themselves and their abilities.
