Farihah Tijani

I am trained in fresh start and lexonix which uses techniques to help learners break down the English language to better understand and take in information. I am also a firm believer of learning through real life experiences and the use of technological devices, I also like to add elements of fun and testing within the lesson to ensure students are understanding what they have been taught.

I have worked in secondary schools with SEN students as well as students with English as a second language. I have also working in ESOL summer schools as an English teacher which I believe has further helped me to develop my craft.

I am also a second language English speaker as the main language spoken at home is Yoruba which is a Nigerian dialect so I am more that emotionally capable of understanding the struggles my students face when learning the English language.
