Evelyn Fitzpatrick

I am a qualified teacher and a First-Class History and French graduate from the University of Bristol. I offer specialist tutoring in both French (fluency and exam prep) and History (analytical writing and source evaluation).

Having taught in a high-performing London academy and achieved top marks in my own academic career (10 As at GCSE, A in A-Level History), I understand the "formula" for success in public exams. I don't just teach content; I teach the analytical discipline required to reach the top grade boundaries.

I tailor my approach to the student and how they learn best. I take the time to understand their goals and carefully consider the best way to meet them.

History (GCSE & A-Level): Specialising in essay-structuring, evidence-based arguments, and mastering source analysis.
Academic Coaching: I help students manage the transition to A-Level, focusing on revision strategies and "academic stamina."
Qualified Insight: As a teacher (PGCE/ECT), I am up-to-date with current safeguarding and pedagogical strategies to keep learning effective and engaging.
