I will teach reading and writing and communication skills to those who do not have English as their primary language and would like to learn more about the language, to a conversational level.
The lessons would include learning the alphabet, basic simple words at first. Then moving on to learning numbers and short sentences. Then progressively adding more words to your vocabulary.
You will also learn how to write. Starting with the basic's, such as the alphabet and numeric letters, until you move on from there to shape your own words into sentences.
Lessons can be one to two hours long. The length of time for each of your lessons would be up to you the student.
Homework will be given to learn new techniques and skills and methods learnt in lessons. Also tests will be given to ascertain how much you the student is learning.
You must be able to commit to the lessons for at least 6 months to a year in order to learn the very basic skills of the course.
All lessons will be taught at the students own level of learning.
In all lessons you will need to have pen and paper handy for the likelihood is that we will need to use it. And exercise book or a book for writing in would be beneficial, it will help you to see the progress you are making. Therefore giving you the encouragement and motivation to keep going.
Your full potential will be greater and you will be able to achieve the ability to converse comfortably with others.
