I have a Bachelor's degree in Classics and am currently working toward an MA in Classics, Medieval and Early Modern Studies. My background and passion is in literature!

I have experience working the SEN children with special/complex needs at a school in Brighton & Hove, and am familiar with the mainstream GCSE curriculum.

I believe that learning should be student-centred, and aim to understand each of my students and learn how they learn!

Typically I use a mixture of visual aids, such as presentations, activities and conversation in my lessons.

Discussion is a large part of my teaching style, as I believe that is one of the best ways to develop passion and understanding of a topic.

For students following a GCSE curriculum, I implement exam materials as a part of the lessons in order for the student to become familiar with exam structure and feel more prepared going into their exams!

English as a foreign language:

My classes are generally focused around speaking rather than strictly grammar orientated. This is because I believe understanding English through a casual, colloquial, method enhances real life depth and recognition of the English language.

These classes are generally aimed toward intermediate to advanced students.
