I have experience in tutoring when I was in sixth form- I was a school prefect and I did tutoring in GCSE English and Maths. My passion is in biology as I am studying neuroscience in the University of Manchester. I got 9-8 in GCSE biology and B in A Level Biology.
My teaching qualities are that I'm patient, accommodating, and willing to try new methods to assist students in learning. The speed of which the content will be taught will match to the content retrieval efficiency of my student. If certain methods of study don't work, this can always be changed to maximise student success rates.
My teaching methods vary depending on the student. It would typically involve knowledge recall and retention, past paper questions and illustrative designs for visual learners. I self taught myself a large chunk of my GCSEs due to the pandemic, and I found the best way to absorb content is to make the information into digestible forms then incorporate it into an examination-like question.
I'm proficient at the use of digital platforms such as PowerPoint, Canva, Word and collaborative Google Docs, so my teaching style is content-dependent, but would typically include PowerPoints and interactive documents.
