Emma-Jane Barrett

My background is education, supporting individuals in primary, secondary, mainstream and specialist settings. I am a Behaviour Specialist and work privately at my own consultancy practice, Aspect Support. I'm also an author (Connection More Than Control, 2025). I work to advise, guide and support individuals, parents/carers, families, education settings and organisations to identify needs and develop support with a view to working towards person-led progress. I have a Master's degree in autism and I'm trained in diagnostic assessments (ADOS and ADI-R) but I don't privately diagnose. I'mt rained in a range of areas that often contribute to and/or overlap behaviour presentations; autism, ADHD, dyslexia, PDA, ODD, trauma, attachment, EBSA, Sensory Processing, anxiety, mental health and neuroscience.

My focus is very much to build trust and develop a strong relationship led by the individual.
