I give tutoring sessions over zoom, based around, and tailored to the student's particular needs. This starts with collecting infortmation on what the student is currently studying, and identifying which areas need the greatest amount of help. From here, I tailor my lessons towards their greatest needs. In general, I treat my sessions less like a classroom lecture, and more like a discussion or activity, so the student can be a more active participant in their learning process, and retain what they are learning better.
Though my main specialty as an Archaeologist lies in Ancient History and Prehistory, I can help the student through a wide range of topics, from world history, to English, to Math (up to Geometry). I can also provide help and tips for homework, tests/exams, and papers. In all cases, it is important to send the material you want to work on to me ahead of time (ideally 5 to 3 days in advance) so I can prepare. I can also offer mock tests and exams for those preparing for the exam season in order to better track your progress and develop confidence!
