In sessions with me, you can expect discussions and structured activities in which you can clearly see how the knowledge and understanding from the lesson directly links to a core skill or assessment criteria. How we work through the session depends on you, so we can work through activities together, or you can submit work for feedback, or we can build a set of resources which you can use to track your learning and use for revision. I'm friendly and non-judgemental and want you to feel like we're working towards a goal which is personal to you.

I design university courses and assessments as my day job, so I understand the correlation between assessments objectives and evidencing skills in a way that meets the criteria for high grades. I'm involved in research into inclusive education and accessibility, and I believe that students should have an active role in how they learn. I am flexible in my approach and happy to explore a range of methods to find what best suits you.
