I am passionate about learning and committed to helping others discover the joy of education. With a strong academic background in Education and Psychology (BSc) and Developmental Psychology (MSc), I understand that every individual learns differently and faces unique challenges.

I believe education is about more than grades—it’s about building confidence, achieving personal goals, and developing essential life skills. My aim as a tutor is to provide supportive guidance that helps learners progress academically while also enhancing communication, organization, and self-belief.

Having experienced the pressures of the education system myself, I empathize with the stress that can sometimes overshadow learning. I once lost my love for academia due to these challenges, but I rediscovered it—and now I want to help others do the same. Through encouragement and tailored support, I strive to make learning a positive, empowering experience for every student.
All of my sessions are tailored to the individual. Our first lesson will be aimed at creating a relationship between myself and the student, finding out: what wants to be covered, areas of strength (these are important to acknowledge), areas of weakness, and how the student learns best. Moving forward I then create a small action plan for the nature of each lesson.

The actual lesson itself will always involve collaborative learning - I will teach the relevant material, ask summary questions to consolidate knowledge, use prompts when necessary, and end with exam questions. I like to ensure that my pupils have access to the material which we use in lessons, therefore, I often send the material before the lesson begins as this allows the student, if they wish, to have a look at what we will be covering beforehand.

Having experienced the education system, I acknowledge that everyone learns differently, therefore, my lessons will always be tailored to your needs and I have regular check-ins to ensure that the sessions are running how the pupil or parent is wanting them to run.
