I will personalise once I’m aware of the proficiency and background of the student. It’s important to see what works for the student and the way they learn best. I will come up with a weekly plan but also ask the student what there goals and the time scale they need there proficiency to progress and what they are learning for. What do they want to speak about, are they wanting to speak more with family or in a new country and want to learn? The basics or more advanced will be determined in an initial consultation. How have they learned before, what age are they and what background in school do they have. I have a degree in business management and have worked with elderly, disadvantaged, children, I am adaptive, positive and encouraging. It will be a joy for me to see a student progress. I can provide vocab cards, student worksheets. Each plan will have objectives. They will begin by a recap of the last lesson and what the student thinks they need or want to work on that lesson. I will then personalise for the next lesson. I love teaching and hope to really improve a students life by quick learning and do my best to go at the pace of the student. I have had students who are very happy with my teaching and say I’m very thorough and understanding. They feel they have learned quickly and feel that they are listened to and valued and feel they learn at a good pace
