Mel is a kind, hard working person When Mel teaches something, she makes it easy to understand and fun to learn Mel helps you feel more confident in yourself and brightens up the room!

If it wasn't for Mel, I wouldn't have passed my English GCSEs. She gave me the confidence to push myself and to not overthink my writing. Everything Mel teaches is explained and broken down perfectly, which allowed me to understand everything and apply the techniques to my writing without it getting confusing and overwhelming. Cannot thank her enough for all the hard work and support she gave me during my GCSEs!

Mel taught me when I was in high school. I loved all of her lessons, she was always so kind and helpful... she was one of my favourite teachers.

I consulted Mrs McMorrow for guidance on writing a creative piece for an online publication. She gave me so much advice on how to tailor writing techniques for different readerships. I also benefitted from her services when preparing for a work presentation (which went down a storm)!

Through my time in highschool there were very few teachers who understood me. Late into primary school I was diagnosed with autism and teachers struggled to deal with me and keep me engaged always being labelled as the bad kid. The transition to high school was hard especially the lessons and things were not explained in a way I could very easily understand resulting in me getting lower than expected grades but, Mel was different she sat me down and explained it in ways that helped me understand and that were fun and engaging, when I had lost any hope of actually passing my GCSEs she was there to tutor me in her own time showing she will go above and beyond for students helping me pass my GCSEs and go into the college course I wanted to do TLDR - she was a Vice principal - amazing at English literature and language - is amazing at getting information stuck in your head - she’s respectful and the person I would want teaching my kids Thanks Mel for all the help you

Mels lessons were a life saver would have 100% have failed my exams if not for Mel and her teaching.

Mel is amazing at what she does and always expects and gets the best results in everything that she does it was such a pleasure working with her.

Very good at what she does, tutored me for English language and literature,at the start of year 11 I was scraping grade 4s in tests and at the end I managed to get a 7 in English language and a 6 in English literature. Highly recommend

Mrs mcmorrow taught two of my children ... I have nothing but positives to say about this woman. The support she gave to both of them throughout high school was amazing. She is one of the most patient, kind and caring teachers I know ... she pin pointed my children's struggles with certain lessons and encouraged them to be more confident in asking for help and she went above and beyond to make sure they attended extra interventions to get the grades they needed. Mrs mcmurrow has such a lovely persona that not only did my children feel content, happy and well equipped to learn in her presence, so did I.... Mrs mcmurrow took the time to contact parents to give advice about their child's education and how we could help more at home which was really helpful and ultimately my children learnt a lot more and went on to achieve great GCSE results. It's very rare to find teachers as good as Mrs mcmurrow. Me and my children will always be thankful to her for all her support and kindness.
