Ellie Mason

I’m a full-time Maths and Physics teacher who genuinely loves helping students understand things that once felt confusing or impossible. I’ve taught learners of all abilities, and one of my favourite parts of the job is seeing that moment when something “clicks” and a student suddenly feels confident. I hold a degree in Physics, a master’s in Nuclear Physics, and a PGCE, as well as A-levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry (AS) and the Welsh Baccalaureate. I’m also fully bilingual in English and Welsh, and I’m very happy to teach in whichever language you feel most comfortable with.

My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and tailored completely to you. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach – everyone learns differently, so I’ll always take the time to figure out what works best for you. Whether that’s breaking things down step by step, doing lots of practice questions together, revisiting tricky topics, or just building confidence over time, we’ll move at a pace that feels right. I always aim to make lessons enjoyable and stress-free, so you never feel embarrassed to ask questions or go over something again.

I use clear explanations, examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to help you make consistent progress. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving classwork, or catching up on missed content, I’ll support you every step of the way. My goal is for you to feel more confident each week and to actually enjoy learning the subject.
