At Elle Excel Tutoring, we believe that every young person has the potential to become a confident and capable performer with the right support.

Our Drama and Performing Arts lessons are personalised, structured and confidence-led, combining professional performance experience with practical teaching techniques to help students develop both their skills and self-belief. We don't just teach students how to perform; we help them understand how to use their voice, movement, creativity and individuality to become engaging and authentic performers.

Every student receives lessons tailored to their individual strengths, areas for development and personal goals. Whether they're completely new to performing, preparing for a school production, working towards a drama scholarship or audition, or looking to develop their skills further, every session is designed specifically for them.

With over six years of experience working with children and young people, I have taught Drama, Musical Theatre, Acting, Singing and Dance across a wide range of ages and abilities. I also have professional experience working on children's West End productions as a choreographer and director, giving me an understanding of both the creative and professional sides of the performing arts industry.

My teaching focuses on developing the whole performer. Depending on the student's goals, lessons can include acting technique, characterisation, script work, vocal expression, movement, stage presence, improvisation, musical theatre and audition preparation. I also place a strong emphasis on confidence, helping students feel comfortable taking creative risks, making choices and expressing themselves on stage.

I understand that every performer is different. Some students need support building their confidence, while others are looking to refine their technique and take their performance to the next level. My approach is patient, encouraging and adaptable, ensuring every student feels supported while also being challenged to reach their full potential.

My experience working with young performers has also shown me just how transformative the performing arts can be. Drama isn't only about developing performance skills; it can help young people become more confident communicators, creative thinkers and resilient individuals.
