Ella Downing-Sterne

I have been teaching GCSE science and A-Level Biology and Environmental science for 4 years. I love Biology and teach with a passion for the natural world and cellular biology. I will focus on a solid understanding of the foundations of Biology, this allows you to see connections across different topics and build up detailed answers. I have taught and carried out all of the required practicals including the field based ones on many field trips to Devon. I will also use exam questions and mark schemes to hep you understand what examiners are looking for. Unfortunately Biology has a very precise mark scheme but don't worry we can use this to our advantage! I also can help you practise the essay element of AQA - I have helped students see that this is not something to be afraid of but an opportunity to show what you know and boost your grade.
