Ella Changlee

My name is Ella, and I recently graduated university with a first in Hispanic Studies.

I have professional experience teaching both native and non-native English speakers. Additionally, I have expertise in linguistics and regional Latin American culture, having studied in Mexico ???? for a year and having lived and worked in Colombia ????. I have also been to Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Ecuador, Nicaragua, and Spain!

I’m passionate about languages because they help us understand the world and feel more confident navigating it. I have supported pupils in a range of settings, from mentoring younger students, to helping friends and family improve their grades.

My experience working as a Teaching Assistant strengthened my skills in adapting to different learning needs, encouraging confidence, and ensuring that every student feels included. As someone diagnosed as neurodivergent quite recently, I also deeply value creating learning environments where pupils feel represented, understood, and supported.
