My lessons are designed to be interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual goals. I believe that every learner has a unique style of learning, so I always start by getting to know my students - their interests, strengths, and areas where they want to improve. From there, I adapt my teaching approach to ensure lessons are engaging, effective, and enjoyable.
In each session, I combine structured learning with dynamic conversation practice or problem-solving activities. For language lessons, I often use storytelling, vocabulary-building exercises, and cultural insights to bring the language to life. For science or academic lessons, I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, relatable, straight-forward explanations and then encourage students to apply their knowledge through discussion, examples, and exam-style questions.
I always create a safe and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learn from mistakes, asking for clarifications, and connecting new ideas. My teaching philosophy is that confidence grows from practice and positive reinforcement, so I provide regular feedback and celebrate progress.
My experience includes serving as a Peer Assisted Study Session Leader at the University of Manchester, where I guided undergraduates in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health in group learning, and working as a Student Ambassador for the university, presenting at international conferences and mentoring diverse audiences during my professional placement year in the United States. These roles taught me how to explain clearly, adapt to different learning needs, and keep lessons lively and inclusive.
Above all, my lessons are about building skills, confidence, and curiosity in a way that makes learning something students can genuinely enjoy:)
