I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor with a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Chemistry and postgraduate training in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. I also have several years of experience in teaching, scientific research and laboratory work, which have strengthened my ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a clear, practical and engaging way.

My Teaching Approach

My lessons are structured around each student's individual learning needs, current level of understanding and academic goals. I believe that Chemistry becomes much easier when students understand the principles behind each topic rather than simply memorising facts and equations.

During our lessons, I use clear explanations, practical examples, worked calculations and targeted exercises to help students develop confidence and improve their problem-solving abilities. I also encourage students to ask questions, participate actively and identify areas where they need additional support.

Subjects and Areas of Support

I can support students studying Chemistry, particularly those preparing for A-Level examinations. Topics include organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical bonding, acids and bases, chemical equilibrium, reaction kinetics, electrochemistry and quantitative calculations.

I can also assist with examination preparation, revision strategies, homework support and strengthening foundational scientific knowledge.

Lesson Format

I offer flexible online lessons, allowing students to learn comfortably from home. Each session is planned to make effective use of time, with opportunities to review previous topics, introduce new concepts and practise examination-style questions.

I aim to make Chemistry understandable, enjoyable and rewarding while helping every student develop the knowledge and confidence needed to achieve their academic goals.
