Ekemini Akpan

Hello, my name is Ekemini. I have over 4 years of experience teaching one-on-one private classes for students ranging from middle school to high school level, 1 year of experience as an online tutor, and 2 years of experience as a Mathematics teacher in a middle school.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics Education as well as another degree in Software Engineering. My areas of expertise include Trigonometry, Calculus, Algebra, Set Theory, Number Theory, and Physics.

My teaching approach focuses on making learning engaging, relatable, and enjoyable for students. I believe students learn better when they feel comfortable with their teacher, so I strive to build strong and positive relationships with my students while maintaining a supportive learning environment. I explain concepts in the simplest and most relatable way possible, helping students build confidence and genuine understanding rather than relying on memorization.

I also make an effort to stay updated with trends, interests, and conversations relevant to the age group I teach. This helps me connect better with students and create a fun, interactive atmosphere that encourages learning and participation.

Beyond teaching, I am passionate about Mathematics, technology, programming, scientific research, and personal development. I also enjoy writing reflections and quotes, listening to music, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
