Eirini Tzoumaki

I am a CELTA-qualified English tutor living and working in the UK, with first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges that come with relocating to an English-speaking country. I understand that learning English is not only about grammar and vocabulary; it is also about gaining the confidence to communicate naturally in everyday life, at university and in the workplace.

Drawing on my CELTA training, I teach English through English, using clear explanations, real-life examples and interactive activities. My lessons are tailored to your current level, interests and personal goals. Depending on your needs, we can focus on conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, academic English or professional communication. I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where you feel comfortable practising, asking questions and learning from mistakes.

My own background allows me to support learners with a wide range of ambitions. I hold a law degree and completed an MSc in Investment and Risk Finance in the UK, graduating with Distinction, with my dissertation ranked in the top 5% of my class. I also work in the UK financial-services sector, so I understand the language required in both academic and professional settings.
