My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s needs, ability level, and learning style. I begin with a short diagnostic discussion or assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and exam requirements. Based on this, I design a clear lesson plan with specific, achievable objectives.

Each lesson typically follows a simple but effective format:
review ? concept explanation ? guided practice ? independent practice ? reflection.
I explain concepts step by step using clear language, real-life examples, and visual methods where helpful. I strongly encourage students to ask questions and think aloud, creating a supportive, student-centred environment where mistakes are part of learning.

The content is closely aligned with the KS1-4, GCSE and A-Level curriculum and exam boards. I focus on core understanding first, then build exam technique, problem-solving skills, and speed. Past paper questions are regularly used to improve confidence, accuracy, and time management. I also teach students how to approach unfamiliar questions logically, rather than memorising methods.

My teaching is patient, structured, and results-driven. I adapt my pace to suit the student, whether they need slow reinforcement or fast-paced challenge. I have experience supporting students who lack confidence as well as high-achieving students aiming for top grades. My students have shown consistent improvement in understanding and exam performance.

Overall, my lessons aim not only to improve grades, but also to build confidence, independent thinking, and a positive attitude towards mathematics.
