My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, whether they are preparing for GCSEs, A Levels or simply wish to develop a greater understanding of history. I begin by identifying areas of strength and those requiring improvement before creating a structured programme of study.

Lessons are interactive and discussion-based, combining clear explanations with source analysis, essay writing, exam practice and regular feedback. I aim not only to improve grades but also to help students understand the wider historical context and enjoy the subject.

As a qualified History teacher with experience in secondary schools, museums and heritage sites, I bring history to life through real examples, artefacts and historical places wherever possible. I also have extensive experience working with young people through the Army Cadet Force, helping students build confidence, discipline and independent thinking alongside their academic skills.
