Dr Venkat Sajja

I am an experienced Computer Science and IT lecturer with 18 years of teaching experience and 2 years of IT industry experience. I also hold a PhD in Computer Science, giving me a strong combination of academic knowledge, teaching expertise and practical industry experience.

My lessons are friendly, structured and practical. I explain difficult Computer Science concepts in simple, step-by-step language and use real-world examples to help students understand them clearly.

I can support A-Level and college students with Python programming, algorithms, data structures, databases and SQL, networking, cybersecurity, APIs, software development and other Computer Science topics.

Each lesson is adapted to the student's level, learning needs and goals. I combine clear concept explanations with practical exercises, programming practice, exam-style questions and problem-solving activities.

I have extensive experience teaching students at different academic levels and understand that every learner has a different pace and learning style. I am patient and happy to explain a topic in different ways until the student feels confident.

For programming lessons, I strongly believe in learning by doing. Students will write code, identify and correct errors, improve their solutions and develop strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

I can also support students with coursework, revision, exam preparation and practical programming skills. I provide clear feedback and guidance on areas that need improvement, helping students become more confident and independent learners.

My aim is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to build their confidence, programming skills and overall understanding of Computer Science.

I am available after 5 PM on weekdays and at flexible times during weekends.
