My online Primary Maths and English lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I begin with a short baseline assessment to understand the student’s current level, strengths, and areas that need development. This allows me to plan lessons that are appropriate, targeted, and focused on steady progress.

Each lesson follows a clear format, including a brief recap or warm-up, focused teaching of a key skill, guided practice, and independent work where the child applies what they’ve learned. I regularly check understanding throughout the lesson and adjust my approach if something isn’t clicking.

Lesson content includes number fluency, times tables, fractions, problem-solving, reading comprehension, spelling, grammar, sentence and paragraph structure, and SATs-style questions where appropriate. I use clear explanations, interactive activities, and encouragement to keep students engaged and confident.

I have experience working with primary-aged children through City Year UK, where I supported pupils in school with learning, behaviour, and confidence. My teaching style is calm, patient, and positive, and my aim is for every child to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when they started.
