My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, ability level, and learning goals. At the start, I assess the student’s current understanding to identify strengths, gaps, and any areas causing difficulty. This allows me to design focused lessons that address weaknesses while reinforcing core concepts.

Each session typically follows a clear format: a brief review of previous material, introduction of new concepts using simple and logical explanations, followed by worked examples and guided practice. I emphasise understanding why a method works, not just memorising formulas, which helps students apply their knowledge confidently in exams and unfamiliar problems. Where appropriate, I use real-life examples and visual methods to make abstract ideas easier to grasp.

I have a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science, and experience teaching and mentoring students at secondary, A-level, and university level. I am patient, approachable, and methodical, and I encourage students to ask questions freely without fear of making mistakes.

Lessons are dynamic and adaptive: I adjust the pace, content, and teaching style based on the student’s progress. I also set targeted practice tasks, provide clear feedback, and track improvement over time. Whether the goal is exam preparation, catching up on missed topics, or building long-term confidence in Mathematics, my lessons are designed to deliver steady, measurable progress.
