David Anderton

As an experienced teacher, I have a proven track record of getting students excellent results. My most recent cohort of A-Level students all achieved in the B-A* range despite varied and challenging personal circumstances. My results for GCSE are much the same, with my subjects’ results being third best in our school, with a solid valued added score.

As well as delivering excellent results, I have also developed curriculums from KS3 through to KS5, managed the demands of my job as well as a TLR, and created a strong student-teacher rapport that has allowed my students to flourish. One of my greatest achievements was taking a student that had been ejected from a local college and supporting him to the point where he decided to take my subject further into his university studies. This level of engagement with students is why I have had such success as a teacher.
