I’m currently studying French and History at university, on track to graduate with First Class Honours and I am passionate about both French and History. I know firsthand how important the right support can be at school as I used tutors during my A-Levels to help me achieve top grades.

My tutoring style is all about making lessons engaging, structured, and enjoyable. I always share a clear plan so pupils know what to expect and how together we are going to reach the end goal. My main aim is to help pupils feel confident and prepared for their exams as I believe confidence is key in achieving top grades in exams. I know how hard it can be study these topics at A-Level and GCSE so I always want to create a supportive space where they feel comfortable asking any questions. I’m experienced tutor with helping students achieve their dream grades and making sure they feel confident in their subjects.

During my first session with students I like to focus on finding out what areas they want help with and how they like to learn so that I can create a plan for the future sessions. I also like to share this plans with students and parents so that students know what to expect from our sessions as well as letting them take ownership of their learning if they want to add anything to the plan. This also allows the students to see how we are going to achieve their goals together and improve their confidence in their abilities. I like to adapt my lesson plans to each student to best fit their learning styles to make sure they feel like they are getting the most out of our sessions together.
