Daniel Phillips

Hi! My name is Danny.

I am an English teacher working in Spain in a school here with children from ages 8-16, as well as with 1-on-1 students of all ages in private classes. I have a 120-hour TEFL certification and I am currently studying a Masters degree in English teaching with the university of UIC Barcelona.

My experience teaching, as well as my studies, have provided me with a range of teaching skills that, while geared mostly towards English teaching, can also be implemented in teaching Spanish due to my semi-native fluency.

My classes will be personalised to your specific needs and interests. Whether you simply want to improve your conversational skills for day-to-day usage, or you are working towards completing exams or language certifications (such as Cambridge English) - I can help!

My 1 hour lessons will be grounded in providing you with real-world situational language learning based on cultural and personal contexts, and merging this more day-to-day, conversational language learning with the grammar-based learning that is essential to consolidating our understanding of a language.

My promise to you, as a potential future student, is that these will not be copy and paste classes - they will tailor-made for you! Your needs will always come first, and I will use all of my experience and resources to ensure that each class brings you closer to achieving your language goals.
