I’m a guitarist, songwriter, producer and experienced music teacher with a relaxed and encouraging approach to lessons. I teach guitar to beginners through to more advanced players, and my goal is to make learning an enjoyable experience while helping students build a strong musical foundation.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s interests and goals. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, improve your technique, understand music theory, start writing your own music, or simply become more confident playing guitar, we can build the lessons around what motivates you.

For beginners, I focus on making the first stages of learning approachable and enjoyable, while developing good habits with chords, rhythm, technique and playing along with music. For more experienced players, I can help with areas such as songwriting, improvisation, music theory, playing in a band and developing your own style.

I believe patience is particularly important when teaching, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and progressing at their own pace.

I have experience working with students of different ages and abilities, and I’m happy to adapt lessons to suit the individual student. Whether you’re picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to take your playing further, I’d love to help you get there.
