Damilola Olonilua

Hi my name is Dami, I’m a 21 year old 1st class biomedical science graduate as well as a graduate entry medical student.
I’ve always had a love for sciences and literature from a young age but I struggled to find the right study methods to succeed in these subjects, however I feel like if you have a passion for a given subject you shouldn’t be deferred away from succeeding in it. As a tutor I feel like I can make lessons interactive by providing the best study methods for my students whilst also having fun and letting it be a relaxed environment.
I’ve had experience as a teaching assistant in many secondary schools and I’ve been able to help students study effectively in classes as well as advice them on improvements that can be made in their work and work ethic, all of this with an instrument of fun added.
i will aid my students by first understanding their strengths and weaknesses, analysing their chosen study methods and providing them with assistance in answering questions and understanding the topics by following the exam board specification and tailoring my tutored lessons around that.
my main goal for my students is to learn at a steady pace whilst being able to enjoy their time during tutoring. It’s a space for them to be free and wind down whilst being able to understand the key concepts of what’s being taught.
