Claire Ramsay

I'm Claire! I'm a biologist and I love helping people at all levels of study with the subject. I have just completed my PhD in evolutionary & developmental biology, and I have an undergraduate degree in biology from Oxford University.

Back in the day I studied biology at Scottish Higher and Advance Higher levels, so I've experienced these exams myself, and I have been tutoring Nat 4-5, Higher, and Advanced Higher level biology (and human biology) online for several years.

I also have experience tutoring undergraduate students in biology. Though I'm now specialised in evolutionary and developmental biology, my undergraduate degree covered the breadth of the subject so I am happy to help out with any issues undergrad students might have.

Additionally, I have a lot of experience in editing and proofreading, so am happy to help proofread high school or university coursework, and offer guidance in improving writing skills.

I love biology and my aim is to help people feel more confident with the subject by meeting where they are at, and finding the learning methods that work best for them - whether that be diagrams, flashcards, mindmaps, working though past paper questions, or anything else.
