About me

I am TEFL/TESOL certified, have two years of experience teaching online, and specialize in English for academic purposes, especially exam preparation (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL).

My score in TOEFL iBT is 116/120. I have been bilingual since childhood but learned English and Mandarin and will soon begin learning Italian. This is to assure you that I understand firsthand the challenges of mastering a foreign language and that I have a keen understanding of how to help others overcome those challenges.

As an experienced teacher with over 1800 individual lessons, I have developed a comprehensive and effective teaching methodology tailored to meet each student's unique needs. My students' satisfaction is a testament to the effectiveness of my approach: I received a score of 4.9 out of 5 on my previous platform, and more than 70 students have given me a perfect rating.

If you are preparing for tests like TOEFL or IELTS, I will guide you on exam-taking strategies, scanning, skimming, note-taking, time management, etc. I will give you general and specific tips about the exams, practice mock exams and prepare for many different situations that can arise. Even if you have little time to prepare, there is still a lot you can learn in a short amount that leads to a higher score, so do not hesitate to try it out.

If you need help with writing or applying to a university, I will assist you in developing your personal statement, motivational letters, essays, dissertations, research papers or anything else. I take joy in writing myself and am more than confident I will have helpful tips for you in this regard.
