Christopher Willans

I have three years in-class experience in China, teaching pedagogically to young learners from the age of 6 up to 16. I also taught high school students and private clients.
I am passionate about helping people to achieve more than they think they can achieve. I really want to help you learn English to the best of your ability. I like people to feel that there is no pressure- everyone makes mistakes when learning a new language and that is O.K.
I focus on English reading, writing, listening and speaking. I can help you with English exam preparation, phonics and pronunciation.
I am friendly, patient, kind, and I like to make my classes as much fun as possible.
I like to use props and play games and sing English songs for younger children.
For older children, we can learn to write stories and be as creative as we want to! I like my young learners to think of me as a friend, instead of a tutor.
Before we start on a course, I like to assess each learner and find out what areas need to be improved upon, whether it is in speaking and accent reduction, or phonics, reading and language decoding, I am sure we can work together to create a learning plan that suits your individual needs,
