I offer online maths tutoring for school and college students, using a shared virtual whiteboard so we can work through problems together in real time. Each lesson starts with a quick check-in on what's been covered in class or what's feeling unclear, and I structure the session around that — whether it's revisiting a specific topic, working through practice questions, or getting ahead on upcoming material.
I have a Master of Pharmacy degree, which gave me a strong scientific and mathematical foundation, along with plenty of experience explaining technical concepts clearly. During my studies, I tutored fellow students informally, and that experience taught me that everyone learns differently — some students need more visual explanations, others need to work through several examples before a concept clicks, and some just need someone patient enough to answer the same question a few different ways.
My teaching style focuses on understanding the reasoning behind a method, not just memorizing steps. I'll often ask you to explain your thinking back to me, which helps spot gaps early and builds real confidence rather than a fragile understanding that falls apart under exam pressure. My lessons cover algebra, statistics, geometry, and problem-solving techniques, and I try to connect abstract concepts to real-world examples wherever possible so they actually stick.
I keep a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere because maths anxiety is real, and students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions — even ones that feel "basic." Homework and practice problems are optional but encouraged between sessions, and I'm happy to review extra work or answer questions outside lesson time where possible.
