Jiajun Mu

I am a first-year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at the University of Edinburgh. I got A* in A-level Mathematics and A* in Further Mathematics. I have rich experience explaining maths problems to others.
My lessons are friendly and student-centred. At the start of each session, I will check your weak points and set clear learning goals. I explain difficult theories step by step and use simple language, instead of just reciting formulas. We will work through examples together and practise exam-style questions.
After each lesson, I will give short practice tasks and note your progress. I welcome you to ask any questions during class. Whether you want to build foundations or prepare for exams, I can help you improve your maths skills and gain confidence.
I am patient and good at adjusting my speed to match yours. I used to help my classmates with hard maths questions in high school, and I keep tutoring my younger sister for her secondary school maths homework. I know many students feel confused about abstract maths concepts, so I try my best to make ideas easy to understand.
