Just a brief introduction about me: My name is chris, im 28 years of age, and i was born in Singapore. I've NOT always known i'd wanted to be an artist. In fact, I grew up thinking I wanted to be a doctor, and studied it for four years in university. However, after some time, I learnt to live for myself and not what my parents wanted me to be, and I knew I would be happier doing what my soul really called out for: the arts.
Through years of intense studying and practice (and having fun too), I honed my skills alongside my studies on Illustration in UAL. My work started to get noticed and I currently operate as a Freelance artist on sales and commission basis. You can view my digital work on instagram at @__pxls and my traditional work at @santhym.studios.
I'm happy to work with whatever format my student prefers, although I do have a preference for online learning. My one to one classes are usually done on Microsoft Teams, Discord, or any screensharing application. I am happy to commute for in-person tutoring if this is preferable !
Here is a breakdown of the syllabus that I teach my students. I also offer tailor made tutoring in specialised subjects for students who request tutoring in: photoshop and graphic design skills, photography and mixed media, traditional acrylic painting on canvas.
The time frames outlined in my syllabus are merely a guideline. I encourage all of my students to move at their own comfortable pace and goals, life is hard enough as it is!
