Christopher Corr

Hi I am Chris and I am a qualified teacher and experienced Early Years lecturer with over 13 years’ experience working in education. I currently teach Education and Early Years, including T Level students, and have experience supporting learners across a range of levels, abilities and ages.

My specialist areas include Early Years education, the EYFS, SEND, child development, safeguarding, working with others and supporting students with assignments, assessments and exam preparation. I can also support students studying T Level Education and Early Years, Childcare and other Early Years-related qualifications.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to the individual. I don’t believe tutoring should simply mean sitting and listening to someone talk for an hour. I use discussion, practical examples, questioning, activities and clear explanations to help you understand difficult topics and apply your knowledge confidently.

I can support you with understanding course content, developing your written answers, preparing for exams and assessments, planning assignments and improving areas where you may be struggling. I can also help you understand feedback from your tutor and identify practical ways to improve your work.

I have a PGCE and have recently completed a Master’s in Teaching and Learning, with my research focusing on male representation within Early Years education. Most importantly, I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
