About me

Laid-back, student focused lessons with emphasis on guiding students through what they find difficult. Teaching is primarily verbal with the use of diagrams as well as screen-shared whiteboard usage. Lessons are tailor made to each student with an initial conversation/icebreaker to understand where difficulties are and then lessons are customised/planned based on the feedback given.

Laid-back, student focused lessons with emphasis on guiding students through what they find difficult. Teaching is primarily verbal with the use of diagrams as well as screen-shared whiteboard usage. I am an A* Chemistry A-Level student with a huge passion for Organic Chemistry and all things chemical, spent 2 years learning Biochemistry in the University of Warwick before dropping out due to health reasons.

After reconsideration and a general desire to change pathways, I am now a Foundation Degree Cybersecurity student, with intention of obtaining a BSc in Cybersecurity and Emerging Technologies. The last 4 years have taught me a lot about how I learn, and how to effectively study and teach others also.

I tend to use a 45 minute to 1 hour lesson format, with an initial review of the previous lesson's content/problems followed by new content. Lessons are extremely interactive as I try to get students to practice what is being taught in the lesson whilst rectifying/assisting them whenever they have difficulties.

My core aim with tuition is to ensure total understanding of the core concept being taught rather than to rote memorize answers, as I feel having a grasp of what is being taught is crucial for future application in real life, whether in a big way or small. At the end of the fay, the student is the greatest priority and their continuing development is something I strive to achieve and sincerely hope to be a part of.
