As a teacher, I use a responsive classroom. Though I don't presume they already know how, I think any child can excel in both conduct and academics. I approach teaching in a way that fosters in them self-control, empathy, cooperation, assertiveness, and responsibility. I mentor students to become self-aware of their conduct and to recognize how their decisions, words, and deeds impact not just themselves but also other people. To assist children in developing self-regulation, I employ logical consequences and alternative reactions to misbehavior.
