I have been a full-time classroom teacher the last four years in Texas. I taught 8th grade level mathematics, which is equivalent to your S2 level based on my understanding, as well as Algebra I. I also tutored high school students in Math while I was a college student. Given a client, I would like to discuss with the student about where they currently are in their math course and what of those topics have presented difficulty. I have the study books to prepare for the different state exams in Scotland and would prepare material for each session based off of those or any material you provide from your specific course. I would also require practice to be done independently the student for every session of tutoring provided, as math is something that must be practiced to learn fully. When possible, I like to implement real-world examples and visuals to aid in the understanding of mathematical concepts.
