I believe in finding the best learning method for you individually, my approach involves multiple varying teaching techniques in order to ensure the student feels engaged and confident that they're absorbing the information given. I will often begin by asking the student where their weaknesses are and then working out how to build their confidence in those areas together using a mixture of both structured sessions and student - led sessions. If something still isn't clicking, we'll work through it together and try a different technique.
